#151: MewBecause it can use all kinds of moves, many scientists believe Mew to be the ancestor of Pokémon. Diamond, Pearl & Platinum MovesThe first moves Mew learns, at level zero, are the Normal/Physical move Pound (40 damage, 100% accuracy, 35PP) and the Normal/Status move Transform (10PP). All the moves after these two go up in tens; Mew learns a new move at level 10, level 20, level 30, ect.At level 10, it will learn the move Mega Puch. This is a Normal/Phyiscal move that deals 80 damage, with 85% accuracy and 10PP. Mew learns Metronome at level 20. This is the Normal/Status move which allows Mew to use any attack, but this attack is randomly selected. Metronome has 10PP. At level 30, the Psychic/Special move Psychic is learned. This attack does 90 damage with 100% accuracy, but only has 10PP. The move Barrier, which is a Psychic/Status move, is then learned at level 40. At level 50, Mew learns the only Rock type move, yet one of the many Special moves, it can learn naturally through gaining levels, Ancientpower. This attack can be useful when used against any Bug type Pokémon that Mew may just happen to wander across (I doubt someone would use a Bug type in an Uber-tier competitive battle). This attack deals 60 damage, with 100% accuracy and 5PP. When it reaches level 60, Mew will learn Amnesia, which is a Psychic/Status move with 20PP. It then learns the Normal/Status move with 20PP Me First at level 70, followed by Baton Pass at level 80. Baton Pass is a Normal/Status move with 40PP, and allows Mew to pass status boosts to another team mate. At level 90, Nasty Plot is learned. Nasty Plot is a Dark/Status move with 20PP. Although, Mew is too nice to think nasty thoughts. o; Finally, at level 100, another damage-dealing move is learned; Aura Sphere. This Fighting/Special move deals 90 damage, has 20PP and never misses. If you are new to Pokémon or don't know much about Mew, you may think that Mew does not learn a very varied set of moves, but you are wrong. Mew can learn all TMs and HMs, and therefore can have a very varied moveset if you obtain the correct TMs or HMs. | ||||||
